Disclaimer
1.12 Whilst we do take all reasonable steps to make sure that the information on this website is always up to date and accurate, we do not guarantee that all material is accurate and, or up to date. Occasionally an error may cause product price/description to be incorrect, in which case Artemis Catering shall be under no obligation to honour the incorrect price.
Shipping
1.16 Your order will be processed and delivered without undue delay, no later than 30 days after your order has been placed. Please allow for up to 7 working days for delivery following the dispatch of your order.
1.17 Delivery as standard is a kerb side delivery to a ground floor site. Drivers will be unable to assist with the unpacking process due to liability insurance regulation.
Cancellations, returns and refunds
1.18 All customers have the right to cancel their order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations.
1.19 Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order, you may cancel your order prior to it being delivered as long as it has not been dispatched cancellations must be made in writing to [email protected] or via phone
1.20 To meet the cancellation deadline, please notify us via email or phone about cancelling the order before the cancellation period has expired.
1.21 Goods sold may be returned at the customers own cost and transport risk for a refund providing the product(s) are unused and in their original packaging. A restocking fee of 25% will be aplied to products returned. If they have been used then you are eligible for a part exchange for a discounted price. You must send the goods back to us to our contact address at your own cost (unless we delivered the item to you in error) as soon as possible once you have cancelled the order.
1.22 We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs of recovering the goods if you do not return the goods or return them at our expense.
1.23 Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the order, any sum debited to us will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of your cancellation.
1.24 In addition you will lose your right to cancel if you:
(a) unseal goods that are not suitable for return if they are unsealed, due to health protection or hygiene reasons.
b) exceed the returns date by passing 14 days
(c) combine goods with other goods after delivery so that they become inseparable.
1.25 Artemis Catering is not liable for any lost profits or business interruption that may have directly, indirectly or incidentally arisen from a faulty or defected unit. It is the customers responsibility to plan and prepare for such instances. Customers are also responsible to collect their item if agreed for ”collection only” within 30 days or their item will not be covered for a refund and will be disposed of.
1.26 The customer is responsible for ensuring that all items will fit onto or within the premises. You (the customer) are advised to check all entry door dimensions to ensure the product will fit onto or within the site. Any charges caused by an aborted delivery due to this will be passed onto the Customer
Damaged shipments & returns
1.27 Your goods are covered with our goods in transit insurance policy. Please carefully check the goods before signing for the delivery. If you find any damages, please refuse the delivery and we will exchange your product. If you sign for the delivery, this means you are accepting it and the insurance policy will not cover the transport damages you will want to claim. You must report any damages to Artemis Catering via email within 24 hours to make a claim stating the damage/defects of the item received from the carrier.
1.28 Customers are responsible for ensuring that products ordered will fit through any entrances to their premises, and the company cannot accept responsibility if it will not fit.
1.29 You will need to report this to us via email within 24 hours of receiving the goods and be able to provide photographic proof of the damages. Please keep all the packaging, this will be required to safely return the item.
Warranty
1.30 If an item is not working on delivery or within 14 days from the invoice date, we will exchange the item or refund the price paid. It is the customer’s responsibility to report such failure in writing with supporting evidence such as photos or video if required within this time scale.
1.31 At our discretion, with 1 month Back to Base warranty for used items, the buyer is responsible for the cost of sending the product back to our warehouse and sending it back to the buyer after being repaired.
1.32 All items must be installed (where relevant) by a professional tradesman with the appropriate qualifications or certificates applicable under the law at the time of installation. The Company reserves the right to ask for proof of installation of any item subject to a warranty claim.
To make a warranty claim, the Customer needs to report this in writing, alongside any supporting evidence such as the installation report from a qualified engineer, photographic evidence and maintenance records. All warranty claims without the appropriate supporting documents will be rejected until the relevant materials have been received, We operate on a 6 months parts only warranty for new stock. Items that have become faulty due to misuse, accidental damage, bulbs, fuses, glass, heating
elements, rubber seals, mixer hooks and consumables are not covered by parts only warranty. An Item that has been previously used may have signs of cosmetic wear and refurbishment but is fully operational and functions as intended.
1.33 In some circumstances warranty claims will be automatically rejected if any of the following apply:
o Faults caused by or related to incorrect installation
o Faults with items not installed by a professional tradesman with the appropriate qualifications (Where Applicable)
o Faults with items where the relevant installation certificate have not been received.
o Faults caused by or related to the build-up of limescale
o Corrosion
o Blockages
o Faulty on-site electrics, such as plug sockets, wiring or fuses
o Damage caused by alterations
o Faults caused by poor maintenance
o Items that have not been set up correctly
o Where the customer has not ensured that all power supplies, water and gas connection are appropriate for the goods supplied
o Faults caused by or related to natural disasters
o Faults caused by or related to building damages, such as floods.
o Faults cause by or related to customer misuse
o Faults caused by or related to sabotage of the item and/or violent conduct
o Faults cause by or related to break-ins and/or robbery
o Faults caused by or related to in transit accidents
o Faults caused by or related to the item being used by untrained individuals
Termination
1.33 Artemis Catering reserves the right to cancel or suspend any order where payment has not been received or in which payment has failed subject to credit checks or otherwise.
By agreeing to purchase, the Customer agree to our Warranty Terms & Conditions which can be accessed at any time but may be subject to change.
